ThemesThe theme for our October, November and December edition will be CAPTURE.
The themes for the following two quarters, Jan, Feb, March and April, May and June will be BONDAGE and ESCAPE respectively. These three themes will be released in digital format and the best will then be curated into a print edition to be released in 2016. We have now released the themes for all of the first 9 editions of Annotation and they are as follows: The third and fourth quarters of 2016 and the first quarter of 2017 will be Ending, Cycles and Starts respective. And the second, third and fourth quarters of 2017 themes will be Artefacts, Invention and Discovery. As stated before we are now taking submissions (please see the submissions page) for the Capture edition but we will take early submissions for the Following editions. Please if you have any questions regarding and anything Annotation please do not hesitate to contact us via social media or email ([email protected]) or through the contact form on the submissions page. Thanks for your time and we hope that this endeavour will be a fun adventure for us all. |
SubmissionsAll submissions can be emailed to [email protected].
Or if you leave a comment and wish to send a piece by post we will send a post address to you. We ask that all written submissions are generally no longer than 1500 words although longer pieces will be considered if we feel they merit it. Please add any details you wish to be included and a short biography. We would appreciate if all visual artworks could be sent in a relatively small file size and in a Jpeg format and we will then contact you in order to get a higher quality print. If you would like feedback please ask, we cannot promise it but we will try our best after all without people like you we cannot make this happen. By submitting a piece of work to Annotation magazine you are proclaiming all rights to the work and that the work is an original piece. Thank you, Simon and Rik. |
